How we govern

Governance principles

Board oversight

Trustees hold ultimate responsibility for strategy, financial stewardship, risk and compliance, with minuted decisions.

Interim authority

Pending the estates, Dr George Woods exercises delegated authority for charitable disbursements against the recorded wishes of Sophia Wood and Kevin Williams.

Conflicts of interest

Actual or perceived conflicts are declared, registered and recused from the relevant decision.

Financial control

Segregated records, dual authorisation of payments and annual review of accounts, retained for reconciliation.

Safeguarding & data

Beneficiaries and partners are anonymised and reported by cause category, consistent with charity-sector practice.
